We have been awarded a grant from the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) to support another Stop It Before It Starts! Art Competition.

This funding will allow VPA to deliver the competition again, learning from our inaugural competition in 2024. We will continue to engage our community in creative, prevention-focused conversations about family and domestic violence, and we'll even be introducing a new category - community mural!

The GCBF provides essential funding to not-for-profit community groups, supporting their efforts to enhance services, and opportunities for communities across Queensland. We are honoured to be recognised among the organisations supported by this fund.

We extend our thanks to the Queensland Government, the Community Benefit Funds Unit, and Attorney-General and Minister for Justice the Honourable Deb Frecklington MP, for their continued support of grassroots violence prevention work.

This grant will allow VPA to continue delivering on our mission of building safer, more connected communities through prevention-focused programs and education.
