Jes Hallagan is the founder and Managing Director of Dangerous Females, and a firm believer that fundraising doesn’t have to be boring.

​

Based in Brisbane, Jes is a creative, community-minded organiser who has built her career around bringing people together, creating big ideas and turning them into actual things. She founded Dangerous Females in 2018 after a conversation between a group of Brisbane mums with an idea for something that could challenge victim-blaming, start better conversations and raise money for the organisations doing the hard yards on the frontline.

These days, Jes is the person behind much of the busy activity at Dangerous Females, from fundraising campaigns and fashion events to artist collaborations, partnerships and the occasional extremely ambitious idea that somehow becomes a real event.

Her approach is simple: make people care, make it memorable, and then give them something they can actually do.
